Unless otherwise noted:
Registration closes two (2) business days prior to each event.
Cancellations received in writing via email to support@midwestpbis.org no later than two (2) business days prior to the event will be refunded, minus a 5% service charge to cover non-refundable expenses to the Midwest PBIS Network.
If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for full payment of your registration fee. Substitutions may be made at any time.
School Team Training Events - Cohort Model

Tier 1 Team Training Cohort
This capacity building model for school teams is suitable if you are new to PBIS or need to re-boot your current implementation overall. PBIS is more likely to be successful when supported by district leadership. See below for more information regarding research on successful implementation. Many states have capacity building plans starting at the state level.

Tier 2 Team Training Cohort
This training for school teams supports development or improvement of necessary components of Tier 2 installation, while confirming necessary components of Tier 1 implementation. Action plans are developed based on current context with progress towards high fidelity implementation.

Training of Trainers - Tier 1 & Tier 2
Are you interested in becoming a trainer for PBIS Team training in your district or region? Do you have experience with implementation, data collection, and the problem solving process? Apply to be part of the next Training of Trainers cohort through Midwest PBIS Network.
$1800/person

90-minute overviews to explore topics, and help you decide about engaging in full team training for capacity building
Getting Ready for Tier 1
School administrators and coaches will prepare to lead their school through the planning and implementation of PBIS. Participants will increase their knowledge of PBIS as a framework and the critical features of Tier 1 as well as their understanding of the integration of classroom management practices into Tier 1. This training will help school leaders assess their readiness of full team training by ensuring proper team composition, identifying coaching responsibilities, and ensuring readiness of data systems. School leaders are encouraged to participate in this training prior to registering a team for Tier 1 Team Training.
Getting Ready for Tier 2
School administrators and coaches will prepare to lead their school through installation of Tier 2 systems and a continuum of interventions. Participants will increase their knowledge of targeted interventions for groups of students and the systems to support these practices. This training will help school leaders assess their readiness for full team training by ensuring Tier 1 foundations are in place, Tier 2 team composition, identifying coaching roles and ensuring readiness of data systems. School leaders are encouraged to participate in this training prior to registering a team for Tier 2 Team Training.
Getting Ready for Tier 3
School administrators and coaches will prepare to lead their school through installation of Tier 3 systems and person center planning process (e.g., wraparound, RENEW). Participants will increase their knowledge of person-centered planning process and assess their schools readiness for implementing this process with fidelity. This training will help schools leaders identify facilitators to send to wraparound or RENEW training and prepare their systems. School leaders are encouraged to participate in this training prior to registering facilitators for wraparound and RENEW training.

What is ISF?
This is an introduction to the Interconnected Systems Framework. School or community agency staff who are exploring how education and mental health systems can more effectively work together in an integrated way are encouraged to participate. Participants in this training will learn the history and context of ISF and increase their understanding of how the ISF provides the structures and process for moving school and mental health systems from a co-located model to an integrated system. Participants in the training will leave with knowledge of existing resources available to support.

Individual Capacity Building Events
Administrator Academies (IL)
School administrators and coaches will prepare to lead their school through the planning and implementation of PBIS. These leaders will learn the critical features of PBIS, and understand the integration of classroom management practices into Tier 1. Participants will also learn about coaching and team facilitation roles, use of behavioral data for decision-making, and progress-monitoring for fidelity of implementation and student outcomes.

Data-based Decision Making
Join us as we review the core components of Team Initiated Problem Solving (TIPS) and Data Based Decision Making (DBDM) using the outline of the PBIS Blueprint to address Executive and Implementation Functions. We will cover TIPS Meeting Foundations and the Problem-Solving Process. We will detail roles, responsibilities and function of your tier 1 team and how to use your school-wide data for developing precision statements and subsequent action plans. Each registration also includes one individualized technical assistance follow-up with our Midwest PBIS Network staff joining your team meeting.
Illinois Networking Opportunities with MWPBIS Network
Free opportunities on Zoom to meet other people (i.e., coaches, administrators, teachers) in districts/schools who are implementing PBIS. These virtual meet-ups are opportunities to learn together by sharing your successes and problem solve your challenges. These opportunities are targeted as support to PBIS implementing schools in Illinois and in our virtual world these opportunities are open to any implementer across the world to join. Center on PBIS Events
NEW - Community of Practice
The Center on PBIS is hosting a series of monthly Community of Practice (CoP) sessions to bring people together in an effort to explore how a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) can strengthen current efforts to support increasing needs. Participants will have time for learning and processing with others in this space. Team participation is highly encouraged. Participation is provided at no cost. Registration is required.
Who: Leadership Team hiring clinicians, Leadership Teams recruiting diverse workforces, Clinicians new to working with leadership teams, Individual clinicians
What: Join others from across the country to learn and be in community with practitioners, technical assistance providers, and other educational and mental health system professionals.
How: Join virtually. No cost. Registration is required.
When: Monthly series. All CoPs from noon-1:30pm CST
