Getting Started with PBIS Apps

STEP 1: Do you have a PBIS Apps/Assessment account?

• • How to find out? Email eval@midwestpbis.org to verify that your school has an account set up.

  • If you do not, complete the School Information Form we will send to you via email.

  • If you do have an account, find your PBIS Assessment Coordinator.

STEP 2: Do you have a local PBIS Assessment Coordinator? (This is usually a District staff member).

• • If yes, contact that person about opening your Assessments.

  • If no or unsure, email eval@midwestpbis.org to verify.

    • If you do not have a local PBIS Assessment Coordinator, we will send you a Local Coordinator Form to fill out, to assign a Coordinator for your school/district.

STEP 3: View assessment results through Reporting.

• This information is available for your team, are crucial for action planning, and required for reporting out the TFI on your Midwest PBIS Recognition application.

  • Both Team Member(s) and Local PBIS Assessment Coordinators can access the Reporting feature online

  • Information on Reporting can be found in the PBIS Assessment User Manual, at the bottom of page 15.

  • View a video about reporting through the "PBIS Assessment Coordinator Overview", around 5 min 34 sec.

STEP 4: Open the self assessments in your school's online PBIS Assessments account.

• • Local Coordinator will open assessments for you.

  • Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI): take multiple times throughout the year to reach goal of 70% fidelity at Tier I, (ie: quarterly)

STEP 5: View assessment results through Reporting.
